Taittinger

Taittinger

The prestigious, Reims-based champagne house of Taittinger produces two elegant cuvées, so you can buy some bubbly for every occasion. You can find Taittinger champagnes in the Aelia Duty Free eShop and in our shops at Brussels Airport and Charleroi Airport. In 1734, the first bottle of Taittinger, which was still called Forest-Fourneaux at the time, after its founder Jacques Fourneaux, was produced. In 1932, Pierre Taittinger acquired the champagne house, which remained in the family’s hands until 2005. After the sale of its businesses to an American hotel group, the champagne house returned to the family one year later. Taittinger produces various cuvées. Their two ‘cuvées de prestige’ are the ‘Comtes de Champagne’ (100% Chardonnay) and the ‘Comtes de Champagne Rosé’ (100% Pinot Noir). Two champagnes you should always have in your cellar.
